Site Engineer - Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to be an integral part of their onsite management team. We are working alongside one of the United Kingdom's specialist design and build contractors. In this role you would be reporting into the Site Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
" Supporting site management and teams with daily operations.
" Checking drawings and plans with setting out co-ordinations, to complete Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co - ordination.
" Serving as the primary technical consultant on-site for specialized subcontractors and the concrete frame contractor.
" Conducting site surveys, setting out, and ensuring quality assurance, including temporary works inspections and coordination.
" Demonstrating proficiency in interpreting reinforcement schedules and drawings.
" Guaranteeing adherence to specifications in materials usage and work execution.
" Managing and interpreting construction design drawings provided by the team of structural engineers, MEP engineers, and architects.
" Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the project workforce.
" Overseeing day-to-day site operations, including supervision of labour and subcontractor activities.
" Efficiently planning work schedules and organizing site resources to meet project deadlines.
" Generating necessary reports for senior site and project management.
" Proactively addressing unexpected technical challenges and other issues, promptly reporting to senior site and project managers for resolution.
" A Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant discipline
" 3+ years' experience postgraduate is desirable and experience of setting out structures of a value of £3M+
" A current valid CSCS Card
" First Aid (Desirable)
" SMSTS (Desirable)
" Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations.
" IT literate with a confident knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD

" Commercially astute demonstrated in your ability to identify cost savings and understanding of budgeting restraints.
" Proven ability of being able to drive projects forward and achieving high standards of work.
" The ability to read drawings and call off reinforcement.
